Apple’s fogey fan are upset with the launch of iPhone 4S. They were expecting new generation “iPhone 5″. If you are in China, then you can an iPhone5 even it is not launched yet. In Fuzhou, fake version of the next generation Apple smartphone iPhone5 was seized by the Chinese officials after they found that these bogus phones sold in market violating the Cupertino's trademark.
Duplicate iPhone5 seized
Xinhua, Chinese news agency reported that 61 such forged devices were taken in custody by the law enforcement officers during a surprise inspection carried out at shops. These devices tagged as iPhone5 incorporates features like GPS navigation, dual SIM and dual Standby property. This fake variety of phone sold widely in China was priced US$47.
According to the distributor of the fake iPhone5, Xinhua, the phones are manufactured in Shenzhen in south China. The phone trader told that the fake handset is the most recent and excellent among all the iPhone's.
Product in Demand
There are many online stores where iPhone 5 is available from many days. China has 500 million internet users. It is also available on local shops for dirt cheap price.
According to rumors, Apple was going to launch iPhone 5 instead of iPhone 4S, so many Chinese manufacturer made copy of it. Fake iPhone 5 is available for $31 on Taobao.com
One user from Taobao said “It’s really great, I’ve already used it for a few days and its good value for money”.
Some people were billed with product “HiPhone 5″. But all phones had logo of Apple on back and printed “iPhone 5G” in the battery compartment.
In this July it was uncovered by a US blogger that China is operating fake apple stores. Even people working there were unaware that they are working in a fake store.
